Extension of Sesa Strong Roots Oil design to Sesa Strong Roots Shampoo.
Sesa was launching a shampoo under their Strong Roots portfolio. Sesa Strong Roots Shampoo is an ayurvedic mixture of 26 natural herbs and was looking for a new packaging design with a premium look and feel with an intent to widen the audience base. The design had to appeal to the middle class and upper-middle-class consumers.
The traditions of Indian Ayurveda and goodness of natural ingredients were to be highlighted through graphics.
The colour palette with light green and brown gives the brand an elevated feel amongst the category.
Green symbolises natural aspects whereas brown connects to the earthy nature. Key propositions of the ‘Banyan tree extracts’ were highlighted through a blown-up icon on the label. The imagery of the ingredients were composed alongside a splash of water to cue in freshness.
